After taking this elective, id like to think that i have learnt and developed certain skills. Such as how to arrange and explore business ideas. Through mistakes that have been made, such as the organisation of the cake sale, i'd like to think that i would be able to successfully organise and re do the cake stall again.I would lay out the table so that it would seem more appealing to people, by putting down a nice cloth. A bigger sign for the table to advertise the bun sale.
Although this would have made the bun sale look better and more appealing, i still managed to sell my buns. I took the iniative and decided to go round the university campus to sell the buns, therefore coming across more people.
A great way to have gotton peoples attention and draw them to the stall could have been to make little cute giveaways that would make them want to buy more and tell their friends, such as stickers or badges which can all be made cheaply.
Could use ambiant media, by making and putting big stencils or stickers on the floor of busy places to grab peopels attention.

how to make buns...
I thought that i would add a post about how to create beautiful buns...
First things first, the ingredients
eggs, sugar, self raising flour, butter
Next you need to prepare the oven by pre heating the oven to 180 c /350F
Put twelve fairy cake cases in a 12 hole tin
Whisk two eggs and 110 g of sugar together in a bowl

Gradually add 110g of melted butter slowly and gently

Pour into the cake cases and pop in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes

Take out off the oven and allow buns to cool down

Then after the buns are cooled you can start to decorate them

And that is how i made my buns for the bun sale, simple quick and easy.

making the cakes...
After reading through my blog i realise that i haven't actually talked about making the cakes that i sold. I actually found making the cakes really enjoyable (im sure my house mates did too, as they were the guinea pigs).
The day before the stall i went to buy my ingrediants, sugar, butter, flour and eggs being the main ingrediants. I also bought icing sugar and delicious treats to decorate the cakes/buns with. Making the cakes was really straight forward to do and all in all didnt really take that long to do. I enjoyed created and designing with my decorations and was a fun activity.

last lesson before easter...
I arrived at the last lesson before easter being the only one to turn up.
We are yet to all sit down together to discuss what happened with our stall of selling cupcakes. I think that once we all get together we need to discuss exactly what went wrong and how the problems that occured could have been avoided.
